CAD fee £40 per hour

It is possible to print your chosen design at any scale, however, all designs are currently repeated to allow for minimal print wastage across the width of the fabric. If the scale is changed this can be lost and could lead to a lot of wastage or make it impossible to pattern match.

This can be discussed on a case by case basis, if no repeat work is required I can offer this service free of charge. 

However, if the design needs to be reworked so it still repeats across the width I will need to charge for my time which is £40 per hour.

It is often more economical to use the panel print option below which avoids having to rework the repeat.

CAD fee £65

Panel printing is a great option if you're creating blinds or curtains where the design needs to flow across several windows or just to save meterage. It is also used if you want to make a design VERY large scale. 

You first need to provide a photograph of the window and approx blind/curtain measurements. It will most likely be necessary for us to have a chat before I proceed. 

 I will then create a quick visualisation like this: 

Commission an original design

If you choose to commission an original design from me

you will own the copyright to the design

This means you can both print your design with me, and use it elsewhere

You will recieve a digital .tiff file in repeat in your chosen colourway(s)

CONCEPT Development

£40 per hour

If you are in the early stages of a project, and would like to commission a design but don't have a clear brief yet, I can work with you to develop the print concept in a collaborative way.

This includes an initial free Zoom consultation where we discuss your ideas and what you're looking for, to see if I will be a good fit for your project. There will be no pressure for you to proceed and it will be a mutual decision.

I charge by the hour for this, so that you can involve me as much or as little as you like. I can assist with colour palette, moodboards, print research and inspiration. Or it might simply be a case of me spending a couple of hours pulling together some print ideas for you and then we can move right onto creating the original artwork. 

I have worked 'by the hour' as a freelance print designer for fashion companies for many years, and find it's an honest and cost effective way to work when timelines can vary wildly from project to project.

If you have a clear idea of what you want, I can move straight to creating the design without the need for concept development (see above)

If we decide to proceed this package includes

• A follow up consulation where we agree details if not agreed in first meeting

• Creation of original artwork (I will keep you informed via email)

• Zoom meeting for feedback and finalise colours

• Design is put into repeat and amended based on comments

• You will then receive jpegs via email to approve / final comments

• 20 x 20cm fabric swatches in upto 3 colourways of your choice will be printed for you. 

(Additional meetings following those listed will be charged £40 per hour pro-rata | additional swatches can be requested for £10 per swatch)
