I have 3 standard base fabrics available; Cotton Drill, Cotton / Linen and Cotton Lawn. You can find further details below.
Individual swatches are available in Fabric by the metre section or you can browse Trade sample packs.
If you're new to Jericho Design House, you can sign up for a Trade Account and you will receive a complimentary swatch pack.
Minimum order is just 1 metre, and your design will take around 7 - 10 working days to reach you, once payment has been received.
Base Fabrics
COTTON DRILL
Casual Cotton Drill - 100% Cotton - 255gsm
140cm print width
Casual Cotton is mid/heavy weight cotton drill base with a visible diagonal weave - like a twill but woven tighter - giving it a sturdy feel but a soft, matte finish
Woven in Pakistan, printed in the UK using non-toxic water-based pigment inks
Ideal for cushions, curtains, blinds
For upholstery please use a flame retardant lining
Not currently Martindale tested
30° delicate wash - Max 30 min cycle - Use non-bio detergent
Warm iron on the reverse - Drip dry - Do not tumble dry - Do not dry clean
If washed incorrectly your product will fade
Cotton / Linen
Cotton / Linen - 94% Cotton 6% Linen - 228gsm
135cm print width
A crisp, medium weight cotton with slub of linen woven through creating a more textured finish. This base has a naturally warm white base colour which slightly effects final print colours when switching from the cotton bases.
Woven in Pakistan, printed in the UK using non-toxic water-based pigment inks
Ideal for cushions, curtains, blinds, upholstery & clothing. For upholstery please use a flame retardant lining

Shrinkage if washed approx 4 - 8 %

Cotton Lawn
Cotton Lawn - 100% Cotton - 75 gsm
140cm print width
A beautiful, lightweight, fine plain weave with a hight thread. Perfect for voiles or clothing.
Woven in Pakistan, printed in the UK using non-toxic water-based pigment inks
Handwash only at 30° - shrinkage estimate 3 - 5%
Warm iron on the reverse - Drip dry - Do not tumble dry - Do not dry clean
If washed incorrectly your product will fade

Please note - the Cotton/Linen has a naturally warm base tone that affects the overall colours of the print.

environmental impact
All fabrics are 100% natural fibres
I do not hold stock on designs, instead printing to order in the UK and shipping directly from the mill to you.
I also offer panel printing for large window dressings or roman blinds which reduces surplus fabric. Find out more about panel print in the Bespoke Services
Fabrics are printed using a digital textile printer which means there is minimal ink and fabric wastage.
Fabric
All fabrics by the metre are OEKO_TEK 100 certified.
They have been independently tested to ensure they do not contain over 300 harmful substances. The certification covers every stage of production.

Although every effort is made to ensure continuity between the swatches, cushions and fabrics, due to the printing process, subtle colour variations may occur between batches.
